City stars to attend BCCT's football camp

Bristol City Community Trust is providing youngsters with the perfect way to keep active throughout October half-term.

Delivered at FIVES Soccer Centre, South Bristol Sports Centre, the Trust’s football camps cater for youngsters aged six-11 with a passion for football.

The week-long programme, commencing on Monday, October 23rd, is designed to help participants improve their footballing ability in a fun and safe environment, with the emphasis being firmly on participation and enjoyment.

Each day the camps will be delivered from 10am-2pm and will consist of small-sided fixtures, speed guns, target cages, skills activities and round-robin tournaments, while giving youngsters the chance to socalise with other participants from across the city.

To make the camp more memorable, Joe Bryan, Bobby Reid, Zak Vyner and Lloyd Kelly will be in attendance on Wednesday, October 25th. The Academy products will socialise with the youngsters, while signing autographs and posing for photos.

The last four holiday camps delivered by the club’s official charity have attracted around 200 participants each day, so if you’re interested in attending in half-term, book now to avoid disappointment.

Community Trust’s chief executive officer Dan White said: “It’s great that our camps continue to attract big interest and we always welcome new faces.

“The feedback we receive is fantastic and we would love to share our delivery with even more youngsters.

“The camps are reasonably priced and they provide a great way for children to keep active during the school holidays.

“You can book individual days or for the entire week, but either way I would encourage you to reserve your place now to avoid the camp selling out."
