City Secure Record Breaking Early Bird Sales

Bristol City have secured record early bird season card sales, with just over 13,000 supporters having already signed up for the 2016/17 campaign.

The sales to date, after a five-week early bird period, already eclipse last year’s season card sales of 12,500.

The Atyeo Stand singing section is sold out, whilst the vast majority of the South Stand seats have been snapped up.

The brand-new West Stand, which opens up in readiness for the 2016/17 season, and Dolman Stand are also extremely busy, with central positions full to capacity.

Andrew Billingham, chief executive for Bristol Sport, told bcfc.co.uk: “We’re absolutely delighted by the response from supporters to date.

“At the end of the early bird period last season we had sold 11,300 season cards, so we’re actually 15% up this time around and we’ve already sold more season cards than we did for the whole of 2015/16.”

Season card sales for 2016/17 will now continue until midnight online.
