Dean Holden says his squad are working hard to deliver a “performance worthy of three points” as they look to bounce back for the visit of Norwich City to BS3 this Saturday (October 31st, KO 12.30pm).
They head into it after an 1-0 defeat away to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night where, after a dominant City first-half display, an error allowed the Cherries to steal the win late on.
But the camp remains upbeat and will learn from their South Coast lesson with another recently relegated Premier League test in Norwich up next.
Robins Head Coach Dean Holden said: “The mood is positive. We got some perspective on the last few games though we’d have liked to have picked up more points of course. The performance was good, we deserved more but didn’t get it. The full focus from Thursday morning onwards has been on this game.
“Norwich are a good team, we know their threats but taking care of our own performance is at the forefront of our minds, to make sure we go out there and put in a performance worthy of three points.
“There were lots of good things the other night but also there were things we can improve on as well which will take us into the next game.”
The games are coming thick and fast in this period with seven games in 20 days but Holden said “there are no excuses, we’ll recover quickly and as well as we can and we’re ready for another big game at Ashton Gate.”
Season-Card Holders can redeem a free voucher code for Robins TV, which they will have been emailed this week. They should check their junk mail/spam folder and then if necessary email Supporterservices@bristol-sport.co.uk
There are no £10 matchday stream passes available as the game has been selected by Sky Sports but Robins TV audio passes are available to buy.
