📸 City play out entertaining draw

Nigel Pearson said he could not fault the players' application after City played out an end-to-end goalless draw against Preston North End.

Han Noah Massengo went closest with a thunderous effort from distance which was only matched by a fine stop from Daniel Iversen, with the young Frenchman seeking his first goal for the club, while Rob Atkinson's long-range effort was also pushed away.

Sean Maguire had hit the bar for the Lilywhites but their chances were largely limited, while the Robins pressed valiantly but to no avail in the second half.
