Johnson, who won September Manager of the Month, guided City to four wins, a draw and one defeat in the league - a total of 13 points from six games. They finished the month and therefore the year fourth in the Championship.

The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ English Football League expert Don Goodman; EFL marketing director Drew Barrand, League Managers’ Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Mikey Mumford.
City’s attacking midfielder Paterson added to his assist quota and grabbed three goals; one each against Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Reading last month.
He goes up against Derby County goalkeeper Scott Carson, Leeds United's Pontus Jansson and Brentford midfielder Romaine Sawyers.
The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Goodman; LMA director Dixon and Sky Bet EFL trader Mumford.
