City head to South Wales in pre-season

City will face Newport County as part of their preparations for the 2018/19 campaign.

Lee Johnson’s side will make the short trip across the Severn Bridge to the Newport Stadium on Wednesday, July 11th (7.30pm kick-off).

City striker Shawn McCoulsky experienced an enjoyable loan move to the League Two club last season, scoring 11 times in his 35 appearances.

City’s pre-season schedule so far:

  • Sunday, July 8th (2pm) v Bitton AFC (A)
  • Wednesday, July 11th (7.30pm) v Newport County (A)
