City have been drawn at home to Shrewsbury Town or Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round.
Lee Johnson’s side will face the winners of the replay between the League One Shrews and the Premier League club between Friday, February 15th and Monday, February 18th – the Robins first appearance in the last 16 since 2001.
“It’s great to get a home tie and we’re really looking forward to another Cup occasion at Ashton Gate in two weeks,” said Head Coach Johnson.
“We have three big Championship games before then and that’ll be our focus to try and maintain our momentum.
“It’s an interesting draw this year. With Manchester United and Chelsea playing each other many teams will fancy their chances of progressing into the next round.”
City advanced to this stage of the competition with wins over Huddersfield Town and Bolton Wanderers.
The Sky Bet Championship scheduled clash at home to Birmingham City that weekend will be rearranged.
