City are feeling good ahead of their trip to Griffin Park, according to Josh Brownhill.
The midfielder is looking forward to Saturday's trip (October 20th, 3pm) to Brentford, after a two-week break from domestic action due to the international fixtures.
Brownhill has played every minute of the Sky Bet Championship this season so far.
"Two weeks is always a long time for no game. I’ve had a good rest and I’m looking forward to the game on Saturday," Browmnhill told bcfc.co.uk.
"We take a lot of confidence even though results haven’t gone or way. We’re in a good place, we’ve performed well and even against Sheffield Wednesday we were unlucky not to come away with anything.
"We have trained well, worked on a few patterns and we’ll be in full confidence going into the game on Saturday."
City face a Bees side who have a new head coach in Thomas Frank. He was previously the assistant head coach, before Dean Smith's departure for Aston Villa.
"I don’t think they’ll change much [as a result], they haven’t over the years", Brownhill continued. "They have a way of playing and it will be tough, they are in a good run of form. But we got there for the three points, to match them and get the win."
City will also be backed by a sold-out away end, which Brownhill says is "massive".
"When you go away to places with a big following, you see those City fans behind the goal it always brings a good feeling," he said.
