Steve Cotterill and Aden Flint have been nominated for the Sky Bet League One manager and player awards respectively for the month of February.
It was a marathon month for City, who played eight league games in 28 days, recording five wins, one draw and two defeats.
Boss Cotterill saw his side average two points per game to extend their lead at the top of the division to eight points.
The month started with a 2-0 victory over Fleetwood Town and an intriguing goalless draw at the home of nearest challengers MK Dons.
City won two of the next three, all of which were played at Ashton Gate, seeing off Port Vale and Peterborough United either side of a rare home defeat at the hands of Sheffield United.
A hard-fought 1-0 success over Rochdale concluded a fruitful four weeks after a difficult start proved impossible to overturn against Colchester United.
Defender Flint was the only City outfield player to feature in every minute of February, helping the team to four clean sheets along the way.
The dominant centre-half also scored two goals, doing so in consecutive matches against Peterborough and Colchester.
He faces competition for the accolade from Gillingham’s Bradley Dack, Izale McLeod of Crawley Town and Sheffield United forward Jamie Murphy.
Cotterill’s challengers for the managerial gong include promotion rivals Nigel Clough (Sheffield United) and Simon Grayson (Preston North End), as well as Vale chief Rob Page.
Both winners will be announced on Friday.
