City drawn against Shrewsbury Town in FA Cup

Bristol City will host Shrewsbury Town in the Emirates FA Cup third round.

The tie will take place at Ashton Gate between Friday, January 3rd and Monday, January 6th.

An exact date will be confirmed in due course.

The team last met in pre-season ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, with Callum O'Dowda scoring in the 1-1 draw in BS3 with the League One outfit.

The Robins were ball number nine in the draw for the next round of the historic knockout competition, which was made on Monday evening (December 2nd).
