Bristol City have completed the emergency loan signing of Norwich City wide man Elliott Bennett.
The 26-year-old – who favours the right flank – arrives on loan until January 3rd, bolstering City’s attacking options.
Telford-born Bennett came through the ranks at Wolves without making an appearance for the first team at Molineux, instead enjoying two spells on loan at Bury.
It was at Brighton & Hove Albion where Bennett’s career took off, leading to a title-winning League One campaign in 2010/11.
That summer Bennett moved into the Premier League, joining Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.
After recovering from a knee injury, Bennett spent time on loan at Brighton last term, while this season his only two appearances have come in the Capital One Cup.
Bennett now has the chance to play regular football at Ashton Gate, joining the squad in the lead up to next Friday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Nottingham Forest - click here to buy tickets online.
