City book up Tenerife training camp

City will be heading to Tenerife in mid-July for a pre-season training camp.

Lee Johnson will put his charges through some warm weather training for a week between July 17th and 24th.

For fans who wish to travel out to Tenerife, the club will hold an open training session on Thursday, July 20th, with the chance to meet the players, takes photos and gather autographs.

In addition, head coach Lee Johnson will then hold a question-and-answer for supporters.

Johnson said: “The facilities will be fantastic for the players and hopefully by then we’ll have one or two new faces on board.

“With just two weeks to go until the start of the new season by then, it will give us the perfect opportunity to nail down the final pieces of the tactical jigsaw.”

He added: “At present we won’t play a pre-season friendly out there, but that could possibly change. Regardless, for any fans who want a holiday in the sun, we will hold an open training session and a Q&A.”

City will be based at T3 (Tenerife Top Training), where the players will have everything they need to step up their training ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

City’s pre-season schedule so far:

Sunday, July 9th (4pm) v Bristol Manor Farm (A)
Tuesday, July 11th (7.45pm) v Bath City (A)
Wednesday, July 12th (7.30pm) v Torquay United (A)
Saturday, July 15th (3pm) v Yeovil Town (A)
