City has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust as part of its commitment to keep fans informed and engaged.
The MOU includes Bristol City and Bristol City Women and confirms the commitment of both parties to relations going forward.
Key commitments include holding two fans forums a year – the first being on Monday, October 11th 2021; discussing with the Trust any significant decisions e.g any permanent ground move or change of ownership; and support from the Trust for the promotion of City Women.
City Chief Executive Richard Gould said: “We are lucky to have a large and very supportive fanbase and I want to make sure we can keep our supporters engaged and involved as the club continues to grow and make progress.”
Chair of the Supporters Club & Trust Stu Rogers said: “Signing an MOU is a really great step forward and builds on the recent good progress and positivity. It's a formal agreement between the supporters and the football club that sets out a framework for continued structured dialogue and transparency. We’d like to thank everyone involved for making this possible, including the Football Supporters’ Association for their valuable input.”
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
