City will face Torquay United at Plainmoor as part of their summer preparations for the 2017/18 campaign.
Lee Johnson’s side will make the short trip to Devon on Wednesday, July 12th (7.30pm kick-off) – three days before tackling Yeovil Town of Sky Bet League Two at Huish Park.
It will be the first time City have played at Plainmoor for six years, having fallen to a 2-0 defeat on their last visit in a pre-season friendly back in 2011.
The club’s most recent competitive trip was far more memorable – for those who could see it – as Leroy Lita scored a stunning hat-trick in thick fog in a League One clash back in 2004/05, as Brian Tinnion's City won 4-0.
These days Torquay are a non-league outfit, surviving in the National League by three points after ending the 2016/17 season with a three-match winning streak.
Ticket prices are still to be confirmed, while more summer friendly dates will be announced in due course.
City’s pre-season schedule so far:
Wednesday, July 12th (7.30pm) v Torquay United (A)
Saturday, July 15th (3pm) v Yeovil Town (A)
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
