City 12/1 for Premier League promotion

City are priced at 12/1 to be a Premier League club in 12 months’ time.

EFL betting partner Sky Bet expect Lee Johnson’s side to finish between 15th and 17th in the 2017/18 Championship, which gets under way on August 5th.

For those with their eyes on the top prize, City are 33/1 to win the league outright – the same price as Cardiff City and Nottingham Forest.

Aston Villa (7/1) are currently the favourites to lift the trophy, closely followed by Middlesbrough (8/1), Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham and Norwich City (all 9/1).

The typically competitive nature of the division means City are exactly the same price (11/2) to finish in the top six as they are to be relegated.

Surprise package Huddersfield Town were 9/1 for promotion with Sky Bet before a ball was kicked last season.

This time around Burton Albion and Barnsley are the big outsiders, along with newly-promoted duo Bolton Wanderers and Millwall.
