It was a successful opening day of Cheltenham Festival for Phil Pocketts but how many winners can he pick today?
Our resident tipster lived up to his name by blasting the bookies yesterday, tipping five of the seven winners.
Footpad (5-6), Coo Star Sivola (5-1), Buveur D'Air (4-6) and Rathvinden (9-2) were all win selections (a £1 accumulator on the four would have returned £100.83), while each way suggestion Benie Des Dieux also came home in front at 9-2.
The going has improved to soft overnight, while it remains heavy in places, so the first tip is to look for horses who stay and have form in such conditions.
Day two brings with it a number of mouth watering contests but a clash between Altior and the Willie Mullins-trained pair Douvan and Min is something to savour in today's Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase. Meanwhile, the much fancied Samcro is sure to start another short-priced market leader in the opening race.
Remember, betting through Sky Bet provides supporters the insurance of money back as a free bet if your horse loses in the first race.
