Chelsea Forward Joins Vixens On Loan

Forward Rosella Ayane has joined Bristol City Women on a short-term loan from Chelsea Ladies

The 19 year-old joined Chelsea Ladies from Reading Women's Centre of Excellence, in 2013. Rosella was part of Chelsea's U17s team that won the league and the FA Youth Cup in 2012 and in the 2015 season scored 4 goals in 4 appearances for Chelsea's first team.

Manager Willie Kirk is delighted to add Rosella to his squad, commenting: "Rosella's loan deal is hopefully the last piece of the jigsaw for us. A very exciting addition, she can play anywhere along the front line. She has fantastic ability and brings an unpredictability to her and our game.

"She is a big character and is eager to do well here during her loan deal and return to Chelsea a more experienced and well rounded player."

Kirk also added: "As far as I'm concerned, that is the squad complete now. I'm very happy with the business that we've done and I feel that we have a squad that can put in a strong title challenge."

Bristol City Women are in action next Tuesday, February 23rd in a pre-season friendly against Notts County Ladies. Tickets are available online now.
