"I'm delighted to welcome both players back to the club to play in the Spring Series," said head coach Willie Kirk.

"I really enjoyed working with them last season and it was very pleasing to see them develop during throughout the year.

"Myself and the staff took great pride in sending both back to Chelsea better players and now, the club, and both the players have an opportunity to enhance their development further."

Now in WSL1, Bristol City Women will open their campaign against Reading at Ashton Gate on Saturday, April 22nd (KO 6pm) before taking on Arsenal, Chelsea and current league champions Man City at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.

The Vixens will also come up against former teammates when they face Liverpool at home, with Sophie Ingle, Tash Harding and Caroline Weir now playing for the opposition.
