Lee Johnson, Scott Murray and Louis Carey will join fellow sport, soap, reality and music stars in a charity football match today (Sunday).
Two teams will compete in a star-stunned family football match at Ashton Gate on Sunday, May 20th (3pm kick-off) to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise, which supports some amazing charities across the West Country.
Managing the teams will be Kerry Katona and Katie Price, with Lee Latchford-Evans (Steps) and Jake Wood (Eastenders) both named as captains.
Taking part in the charity football match:
The event is now in its third year and the Make Some Noise campaign was initially created by Global’s media and entertainment group.
The charity helps youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity and gives a voice to small projects across the West Country and UK.
Global’s Make Some Noise unites some of the country’s best-loved radio stations – Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Radio X and Gold – to award grants and to give a voice to these projects.
Tickets are priced at adults £10 adults and Under-16s £5.
On the day, tickets will be on sale from 1.30pm until kick-off (3pm) from the South Stand ticket office, but will be cash-only.
