Carabao Cup Round Two and Three ties confirmed

Bristol City will play at home to Northampton Town in Round Two of the Carabao Cup.

The match against the Sky Bet League newcomers at Ashton Gate will take place week commencing September 14th.

Should the Robins overcome the Cobblers, Dean Holden's men will then take on either Burton Albion or Premier League outfit Aston Villa in Round Three of the Carabao Cup.

This match is scheduled to take place at Ashton Gate in the midweek of September 22nd/23rd.

The Round Three draw was unseeded and remained regionalised with City in the southern section of the draw. The thirteen Premier League Clubs not competing in UEFA competitions, Watford and AFC Bournemouth entered at this stage.
