Call for "big response" on Tuesday

Dean Holden says Bristol City are keen to get back on the pitch and change their fortunes for the better.

Following the 2-0 loss to Millwall, City host Birmingham City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night (April 10th, 7.45pm kick-off).

Assistant head coach Holden wants City to show more attacking impetus against a Blues side attempting steer away from the relegation zone under Garry Monk.

Holden told BCTV: "In training the lads have been bright, positive but there's some frustration around the pitch, around the stadium, around the fans and we understand that. It's something we're eager to put right.

"Since Saturday, following things said after the game, the lads have come in and trained properly and we have a big squad to choose from now.

"We're after a response tomorrow night from whoever goes out there wearing the Bristol City shirt."

He continued: "It's our last evening game of the proper season so we're after a big performance, certainly early into the game, to lift our fans who we know can get behind us on nights like that.

"We're fully aware we need to put things right.

"We'll put out a team we know can get balls into the box, who can get on the end of things. We are aware we haven't created enough in the last two games so that's our mindset going into the game."
