The young shot-stopper arrived at the club in 2016 from Aston Villa Ladies, and under the watchful eye of Neil Moore, Leach has developed considerably and is now a first team regular.
Leach, 20, was ever present for the Vixens between the posts during the Spring Series and put in some really strong displays.
On re-signing with the club, the City Women star is excited about the future.
She said “I’m really happy to get my future sorted and now I can focus on performing really well on our return to WSL 1, which is where this club belongs.”
“Neil has brought my game on a lot and I am thankful for the faith he and Willie have showed in me so far in my time at the club. All I want to do is develop as a player and I feel this environment is the best place for me to do that.”
Vixens Manager Willie Kirk is looking forward to continuing to work with Leach.
He added “Caitlin is a key member of my squad. She has really enhanced her reputation during the Spring Series, with the potential to go all the way to the top.”
“Our club philosophy is centred around developing young players with potential, and Caitlin fits into that category. I am looking forward to seeing her develop further and test herself in WSL 1.”
Season Tickets for the 2022/23 campaign are selling at a record pace, with more than 9,000 supporters already committed.
