Bryan wonder goal shortlisted

Joe Bryan's piledriver from Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie is being considered for goal of the fourth round.

Bryan's thumping strike was City's third goal against Crystal Palace. The Robins went on to win 4-1 to earn their place in the quarter-finals for the first time since 1989.

Goals from Matty Taylor and Milan Djuric had given City a half time lead before Bryan latched on to a Taylor pass and drove the ball beyond Hennessy, with an effort from the edge of the box that clipped the underside of the bar.

Callum O'Dowda added the fourth with a well-struck volley.

Bryan goes up against goals from Pablo Hernandez (Leeds United), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), Josh Murphy (Norwich City) and Willian (Chelsea).

City will host Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the cup competition, which will be played week commencing December 18th.
