Joe Bryan has been nominated for the EFL Player in the Community award.
The City left-back has already won the Sky Bet Championship award and will go up against the other divisional winners at Sunday’s EFL Awards at the Hilton, Park Lane.
Bryan is shortlisted alongside Doncaster Rovers’ Matty Blair and Cambridge United’s Liam O’Neil.
The Bristolian is an ambassador for the Children’s Hospice South West, but has also helped to support a self-employed amateur footballer with physio treatment following a leg fracture.
Additionally, Bryan regularly joins the award-winning Bristol City Community Trust in the local area, as well as helping to fund work on local football team Pomphrey Hill’s pitches after they were vandalised.
Meanwhile, top scorer Bobby Reid will be at the EFL Awards as part of the EFL Championship Team of the Year.
He will join staff from the Bristol City Community Trust, who have already been crowned the South West Community Club of the Year.
