Joe Bryan has been named the PFA Player in the Community at tonight’s 2018 EFL Awards ceremony in London.
In 2017 the left-back has led by example both on and off the field.
Bryan has been a strong supporter of Bristol City Community Trust (BCCT), regularly engaging in player appearances at events such as holiday camps.
Off his own back, he has also supported a self-employed amateur footballer player with physio treatment following a severe injury and a local grassroots football club who has their pitches vandalised.
He is also an ambassador for Children’s Hospice South West for the second year running.
Bryan said: “Thanks very much for the award.
"I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Bristol City Community Trust and the Children’s Hospice South West for providing us as players a platform to get out into the community and spread joy.”
