Brownhill free kick wins moment of the month

Josh Brownhill's stunning free kick against Blackburn Rovers proved to be a clear standout moment from September.

The strike received a massive 55% of votes by fans on Bristol City's September Moment of the Month poll on Twitter.

Brownhill took a mini step up before curling the ball right-footed into the top right corner of the goal. City went on to beat Rovers 4-1 at Ashton Gate.

In total, 1,044 supporters voted in the 24-hour poll. See the results below:

  • Lucy Graham's wonder strike for City Women - 21%
  • Marlon Pack's twist and turn out of trouble v Wigan Athletic - 9%
  • Marley Watkins' scores his first club goal after neat build-up play - 15%
