Shaun Brooks has become the club’s new Under-18 coach, becoming Academy manager Paul Groves’ first appointment.
Brooks previously held the Academy manager position at Bournemouth and youth coach roles at South Coast clubs Portsmouth and Southampton.
A former midfielder, Brooks played for Crystal Palace, Leyton Orient and Bournemouth during his professional career.
On joining the club, Brooks said: “The passion for me is working with young players and developing them. It’s good to be working with Paul again.”
Groves commented: “Shaun brings experience at senior and youth level, as well as an understanding of the gap between the two.
“His quality coaching and knowledge of the game really stood out. He will work hard to try and improve our young footballers and sets very high standards.”
