Bristol Sport continue partnership with Showcase Cinema de Lux

Bristol Sport is delighted to reveal that Showcase Cinema de Lux, Cabot Circus will continue its partnership into the 2018/19 season.

The cinema – which sponsors the Lansdown Stand family area, as well as big screen replays, will retain its presence on City and Bristol Bears matchdays.

Group head of commercial, Caroline Herbert, said: “Showcase Cinema de Lux is such a strong brand and we’re delighted to maintain our relationship heading into the new campaign.

“Our commitment to promote our sports to families and across the Bristol community is aligned with the values of Showcase Cinema de Lux. It’s a fantastic endorsement of Ashton Gate and the facilities that we have on offer.”

The 13-screen cinema opened in the Cabot Circus development in 2008, and in 2014 added its giant, wall to wall XPlus screen to further enhance the cinema going experience, cementing its position as the region’s premier cinema.

Mark Barlow, General Manager, Showcase Cinemas UK added: “We’re delighted to engage with the young supporters of Bristol City FC and Bristol Bears in our unique family area, but also to have our presence across the big screens on matchdays.

“Showcase Cinema de Lux is a fantastic venue in the iconic Cabot Circus and, like Ashton Gate, we are proud to be a recognized destination for family entertainment in the city.”
