Millie Turner pens new deal with City Women ahead of Spring Series.
Former Everton midfielder, Turner joins up with newly promoted Bristol City Women this week.
The junior international is formerly part of Manchester United's Centre of Excellence, and joined Everton midway through 2013.
Playing with the Development Squad, she signed her first senior contract with the Blues ahead of the 2014 season.
With experience in WSL1 and 2, Turner is looking forward to getting started with the Vixens: "I am very excited to be here, Willie has shown me around the training ground and all the facilities are amazing.
"I think this was the perfect move for me, I needed a fresh start and this will be the perfect place for me to develop," added the 20-year-old.
Turner joins up with fellow teammates Eloise Wilson, Jodie Brett and Millie Farrow at Saint Georges Park for an England U20s camp starting Monday, January 16th.
"Millie's character is excellent and she fits in with the type of players we have at the club already," said City Women head coach Willie Kirk.
"She will give good options and can play in a number of positions.
"We are going to need options for the Spring Series, although it is only nine games, those games are played over seven weeks so that will take its toll on the squad.
"Millie's arrival is going to create good compeition for places and I imagine she will be a prominant member of the team."
The Vixens won promotion back to Women’s Super League 1 with a game to spare in November last year and are now preparing for the start of the Spring Series in April.
The Spring Series set to bridge the gap between the WSL’s transition from a summer league to a traditional winter league.
Now in WSL1, Bristol City Women will open their campaign against Reading at Ashton Gate on Saturday, April 22nd(KO 6pm) before taking on Arsenal, Chelsea and current league champions Man City at the Stoke Gifford Stadium.
The Vixens will also come up against former teammates when they face Liverpool at home, with Sophie Ingle, Tash Harding and Caroline Weir now playing for the opposition.
On the road, the South West rivalry will re-ignite when City Women come up against fellow promotion winners Yeovil followed by away trips to Sunderland, Birmingham and Notts County.
Tickets will be available for all games online via Tickets.Bristol-Sport.co.uk shortly with season cards also on sale in the next few weeks.
