Bristol City Under-18s overcame their Yeovil Town counterparts 3-1 on Friday evening as they kicked off their 2019/20 pre-season calendar.
City had the edge in the first half at UWE Hillside Gardens, creating a number of notable chances, and it was Prince Henry who broke the deadlock in the 40th minute when he connected with a left-sided cross. However, the Glovers were quick to respond and found themselves level on the stroke of half-time with a fantastic strike from outside the box.
The Robins made several changes for the second half and came out strong. After a pattern of good play, a City trialist headed home from a free kick to regain the advantage. Yeovil came very close to equalising through a set-piece, but the effort hit the crossbar.
City continued to dominate possession and went on to secure a 3-1 win as their preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.
