Bristol City will play Yeovil Town in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 16th (3pm).
The League Two club’s Huish Park is a regular pre-season venue for City, and will see Lee Johnson return to the place where he won three trophies, taking the club from the Conference into League One as well as experiencing success in the FA Trophy.
Yeovil finished the 2015/16 campaign in 19th place having fought off relegation by 14 points.
“It’s a good game to have in the diary,” said Johnson.
“Darren Way has done a fantastic job there, keeping Yeovil in the league.
“I’ve still got a lot of friends down there, who I am looking forward to seeing again.
“I’ve played for both teams and been involved in this fixture; their players will be right up for it, testing themselves against Championship opposition, so it will be up to our lads to respond.”
City have already announced one other pre-season friendly, against Gary Johnson’s Cheltenham Town on Monday, July 25th (7.45pm).
