Best wishes to Frankie Brown

Bristol City Women have wished club stalwart Frankie Brown all the best as she leaves the club following the end of her contract.

The Scotland international, who joined City Women from Hibernian in 2014, leaves after making 77 league appearances over seven seasons with the club.

City Women Manager Tanya Oxtoby said: “Our club has been privileged to have an individual of Frankie’s qualities on and off the pitch for over half a decade.

“She has been a fantastic role model for all of those around her, and I cannot speak highly enough of her as a person.

“Everyone at the football club wishes her all the very best in her future endeavours.”

Brown’s experience and versatility saw her play a pivotal role in the last two Barclays FAWSL campaigns as the 96-cap Scotland international missed only one league game in the last 34.

Everyone at Bristol City Women would like to thank Frankie for her dedication and commitment to the club and wish her the best of luck for the future.
