Nathan Baker is in line to make his 100th City league appearance if selected to face Nottingham Forest this Saturday (November 23rd, 3pm KO).
He sits on 99 combined starts and substitute appearances in the Sky Bet Championship across two spells with the club – a season-long loan from Aston Villa in 2015/16 before his permanent switch to Ashton Gate in 2017.
In those years, the club have continued to rise up the division ranks and his form this season has helped the Robins contend an early position in the top half of the table.
Now Baker prepares to face Forest who sit one place in front of City and he’s hoping it will be a memorable occasion.
“Hopefully come this Saturday it will be my 100th appearance, if selected of course, and It’s gone really quickly looking back,” he said.
“I signed here in 2015 [on loan], it’s gone really quickly and hopefully there are many more games to come.
“You notice it (milestones) more reading the matchday programme, you see the appearance and goals stats so it’s one way of keeping track!”
City fans will certainly be hoping to see the centre-back achieve his City career milestone and celebrate with a positive result this weekend.
And you can join the 23,000-strong crowd with tickets still available to see the Robins in action against Sabri Lamouchi’s Forest.
