Baker returns for Fulham clash

Defender Nathan Baker returns to the City starting XI tonight after serving a three-match suspension, as Marlon Pack begins the first of his two-game ban.

City host Fulham at Ashton Gate (7.45pm kick-off), knowing a win will see them leapfrog their London-based play-off chasing opponents.

In all, Lee Johnson has made two changes to the side which began the 2-2 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road last Sunday.

Pack’s automatic suspension comes as a result of receiving his tenth yellow card of the season, away to Leeds, so Jamie Paterson is restored to the starting XI.

Meanwhile, Joe Bryan is replaced by Hordur Magnusson at left-back.

Cauley Woodrow is unable to play against against his parent club.

City: Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Magnusson, Brownhill, Smith, Paterson, Kent, Diédhiou, Reid. Subs: Steele, Bryan, Kelly, Walsh, Eliasson, Diony, Engvall.

Fulham: Bettinelli, Christie, Ream, Odoi, Targett, Cairney, Johansen, McDonald, Piazon, Sessegnon, Mitrović. Subs: Button, Fredericks, Kebano, Ayite, Norwood, Kalas, Kamara.

Referee: Jeremy Simpson.
