Baker in for second league debut

Nathan Baker comes into the City starting line-up to make his second league debut for the club away at Brentford (7.45pm).

The former Aston Villa defender replaces Jens Hegeler in Lee Johnson’s only change following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Birmingham City.

The hosts have lost both of their Sky Bet Championship fixtures so far this season.

Brentford: Bentley, Colin, Dean, Barbet, Dalsgaard, Yennaris, McEachran, Sawyers, Watkins, Vibe, Jota. Subs: Daniels, Bjelland, Egan, Clarke, Jozefzoon, Maupay, Mokotjo.

Bristol City: Fielding, Pisano, Wright, Baker, Bryan, Brownhill, K.Smith, Pack, Paterson, Reid, Diédhiou. Subs: Lucic, Magnusson, Hegeler, O’Neil, Eliasson, O’Dowda, Hinds.
