Nathan Baker faces a late assessment ahead of City's trip to Burton Albion.
The defender pulled his hamstring in City's Sky Bet Championship defeat to Cardiff City and he has since missed clashes against Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End.
And with Lee Johnson facing a defensive reshuffle for City's trip to the Pirelli Stadium, with Aden Flint and Joe Bryan suspended, he may have to call upon his central defender.
"Baker has an opportunity if we can get him fit for Saturday," head coach Johnson told BCTV.
Elsewhere, Eros Pisano could feature for only the second time since the 4-0 thrashing of the Owls, as he recovers from a knee injury.
Johnson said: "Eros was rested on purpose to be ready for the Burton game so we have options and I like it when people start to doubt us. It makes us the underdog and I think we play better when we’re the underdog sometimes."
He continued: "We did have a few niggles [at Preston]. Famara took a bad one on the ankle and I thought about putting Pisano on but he didn’t feel quite right in the warm up.
"I think you can either be a victim or a fighter in this scenario. It’s up to the players, the fans and myself to enjoy the 10-game run in and we will do everything we can to put smiles on people’s faces and we have to grab the opportunity."
