Baker and Hinds start Plymouth cup clash

Nathan Baker makes his second City debut in the Carabao Cup first round tie against Plymouth Argyle at Ashton Gate tonight (7.45pm).

The big defender was suspended for the season opener against Barnsley, but is thrust into the line-up as one of six City changes to face the Pilgrims.

Zak Vyner, Hordur Magnusson, Gary O’Neil, Callum O’Dowda and Freddie Hinds also come in – the rookie striker making his first City appearance in competitive action.

Plymouth of Sky Bet League One make nine changes of their own, but star man Graham Carey is included in the visitors’ XI.
