Bristol City Women ‘keeper Sophie Baggaley scooped up another award after being voted FAWSL Players’ Player of the Year
The Women’s Football Awards took place at St George’s Park on Friday evening and Sophie Baggaley added to her collection of awards after a phenomenal season in goal for City Women.
Baggaley kept eight clean sheets through 20 rounds of Women’s Super League action and the young shot-stopper is second amongst the FAWSL goalkeepers in saves made, making 91 saves this campaign.
Her stellar season has been recognised throughout the year, twice being named PFA Player of the Month for her performances in September and January.
Baggaley was also named in the PFA Team of the Year as well as being shortlisted for the Young PFA Player of the Year award.
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Sophie on receiving her award and for a phenomenal season in a Bristol City shirt.
