Employees from Artis Recruitment are saddling up as part of this years Break the Cycle charity fundraising event.
The Bristol based company, a Break the Cycle event partner, will be entering six cyclists into this year’s Break the Cycle event to raise money for the Bristol City Community Trust. With three members of the group taking on the gruelling 100 mile route and three tackling the 60 mile route.
Break the Cycle is now into its ninth consecutive year of running with this year’s event set to be the biggest yet, with over 100 cyclists taking to the roads on June 30th.
Artis Recruitment Divisional Manager and cyclist in this year’s event, Paul Bryan told the Trust that, “As a former amateur (more social) rugby player, I have seen the values that team sports can bring. From; forming strong friendships and bonds, to working together and supporting each other, to the sense of achievement and accomplishment.
“I now coach young children who want to play rugby, and seeing the enjoyment that they have while picking up valuable life skills is brilliant.
“I’m a strong believer in sport being available for all to get involved in and seeing what Bristol Sport do in the community is excellent. This is my opportunity to support a great cause.”
Chief Executive Officer of the Trust, Dan White, commented, “It is fantastic to have the support of Artis Recruitment at this year’s Break the Cycle event. The money which they raise will provide valuable funding to enable us to continue doing the work that we do.”
