City Foundation hosted its annual Quiz Night at Ashton Gate last night, with a bumper crowd in attendance.
With over 85 guests gathered inside the Lansdown Restaurant, 12 teams were competing for the ‘Lets Get Quizzical’ trophy.
Hosted by the long-established Inquizitors – an outstanding team who always provide top quality entertainment – the quiz rounds consisted of trivia teasers, audio and visual posers and picture puzzlers.
To make the evening more memorable, Aden Flint, Marlon Pack, Josh Brownhill, Callum O’Dowda, Zak Vyner and Max O’Leary joined supporters by entering a team.
Meanwhile, assistant head coach Jamie McAllister got involved by heading up a staff team.
Despite their best efforts, Lee Johnson’s staff and players were unable to claim top spot, finishing tenth and fifth respectively.
Instead, Just Made It recorded a commendable 86 points, which saw them run out eventual winners, just ahead of Coach 2+1.
City Foundation coordinator Billy Bond said: “The quiz event was another great success and it was fantastic to see so many members, and non-members, in attendance.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jamie for taking time out of his schedule to attend the event, along with members of his squad.
“A huge thank you also goes to Mike Lewis and his team within the Inquizitors. They also provide superb entertainment and they continue to prove a popular figure at Ashton Gate.
“The support provided by our City Foundation members is invaluable. Their membership fees fund a large portion of the Community Trust’s projects, all of which improve lives throughout the City.”
