✍️ Allen re-signs with City

Flo Allen has put pen to paper on a new deal with the Robins.

Allen arrived at the club in 2016 as a 16-year-old in the pursuit of a professional football career and she would go on to achieve just that, signing her first contract with the club in 2018.

“I’m delighted to have signed a new deal with Bristol City ahead of the new season,” said Allen.

“I’ve been at the club for a long time now having joined as a 16-year-old and it holds a special place in my heart. Despite a difficult couple of a seasons we’re in a good place to rebuild from in the Championship and I’m determined to help get this club back where it belongs.

“I’ve worked with Lauren (Smith) before so I’m excited to get to stuck in with pre-season and learn from her this campaign.”

The full-back has made 76 appearances for the Robins, featuring 16 times in the Barclays FAWSL last campaign as well as being a regular in City’s run to the 2021 FA Continental Tyres Cup final.

Twenty-one-year-old Allen has also received age-range international honours having represented the Young Lionesses throughout the Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 age groups.

She joins Jesse Woolley, Maisy Collis and Izzy Cook who have recently signed new deals with the club, as well as new signings Chloe O’Connor and Ava Kuyken who were announced last Monday.
