The Bristol City FC Academy would like to thank the Senior Reds for their continued support of younger players over the last year.
The supporters group approached the Academy and offered to support those in the younger age groups – Under-9s to Under-16s – who were in need of financial aid to help in their development.
As a result, their contributions helped those youngsters who required additional support with the purchase of essential equipment.
Academy Manager Gary Probert said: “We are incredibly grateful for the kind support of the Senior Reds for creating this opportunity and for their support towards the Academy as a whole.
“We have been able to support a number players through this opportunity and thanks to the Senior Reds generosity will be able to do the same next season.”
The Grand Appeal is gearing up for a bumper summer of fundraising across Bristol and the South West as it marks the 25th Anniversary of the iconic dress-down event, Wallace & Gromit’s Wrong Trousers Day.
