Tammy Abraham has been rewarded for his fantastic loan spell at City by being included in the England Under-21 squad for this summer’s European Championships.
The 23-man squad named by Aidy Boothroyd includes the Chelsea forward, who scored 26 goals during his season-long stay at Ashton Gate.
It means Abraham will come up against City striker Gustav Engvall, who has been named in Sweden’s squad.
The Three Lions meet the Swedes – reigning champions – in the first group game in Keilce (June 16th), before tackling Slovakia (June 19th) and then hosts Poland (June 22nd).
