A thank you and Season Card update from Jon Lansdown

After reflecting on our communications from Friday I can see that in our focus to get all of the information out to Season Card holders we were missing a key component - love.

The last twelve weeks have been hard for everyone, but in totally unique ways. All of our experiences of the same global event have been different and will have resulted in anxiety from the uncertainty and challenges faced.

I want to take this opportunity to personally thank all of our supporters who are key workers.

To those supporters who have been on the front line, facing incredibly challenging situations on a daily basis, you really are heroes and thank you cannot be said enough times. When the majority of us can only help by staying at home, I think I can say a heartfelt thank you from all of your fellow Bristol City fans as well.

Many supporters will have also experienced loss. Whether that is loss of job, loss of basic freedoms including the ability to see friends and family, or the loss of loved ones, my heart goes out to you and those closest to you.

Bristol City is a big part of our lives, it brings together a diverse range of people with one common belief, a love for our football club and our community. I would like to thank all of our fans this season, who have followed us through thick and thin, rain or shine, home or away. In whichever way you have shown your support this year, thank you.

I would also like to thank more than 12,000 of you who have already signed up for next season with us. I’d like to clear up any remaining confusion that whatever option you choose this season will not affect your season card next season.

Season Card holders have four options on what they can do for the rest of this season with their purchase.

Thank you to those of you who have already responded.

Option 1 - includes the ability to watch the remaining nine scheduled games via Robins TV, a pro-rata contribution to the Academy, a thank you mention in a matchday programme next season and entry into prize draws over the remaining fixtures.

Option 2 - includes the ability to watch the remaining nine scheduled games via Robins TV, the unique opportunity to have your name appear on the Bristol City 3rd kit for next season, a thank you mention in a matchday programme next season and entry into prize draws over the remaining fixtures.

Option 3 - gives you a pro-rata ticketing credit that can be used against any future home league match tickets or season card purchases until the end of May 2021. The ticketing credit will be boosted by 10% so if your pro-rata value is £50, you will receive a ticketing credit of £55. This option does not include Robins TV.

These three options can be chosen by using the link that was emailed to season card holders.

Anyone who hasn’t received the email, please click here to select your option. As we want to have your correct email to get your Robins TV code to you as seamlessly as possible should you select Option 1 or 2 please click here to log-in to or create your Bristol Sport Account.

Should none of these options be possible for you, there is the option to request a pro-rata refund by emailing bristolcityrefundSCH@bristol-sport.co.uk  Please note you will need to email separately for each Season Card refund requested and include details of your Supporter I.D. This option does not include Robins TV.

Please make your choice by midday Tuesday, June 16th. The deadline is tight as we need to make sure that everyone who chooses Robins TV has enough time to receive their code, sign up and test it ahead of Saturday’s game. The default choice will be Option 1 after this date. We would obviously like you to choose options 1 or 2, but totally understand and appreciate that everyone’s circumstances are different.

Season Card holders who are carers will not have received an email but will be sent a live streaming access code for Robins TV.

Please see the updated FAQs below.

I miss being able to see you all at Ashton Gate, as I’m sure you do too. I am sure we will be back there together in the near future and I really look forward to when that time comes. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the season from home and we will see you again soon.

Love to all the Bristol City family.
