A Really Pleasing Three Points –Kirk

Bristol City Women head coach Willie Kirk saw his side secure a comfortable win against London Bees on Saturday, July 23rd.

Goals from Jodie Brett, Charlie Estcourt and a London Bees own goal helped the Vixens continue their unbeaten home league record.

“The performance from start to finish was really impressive and the team fully deserved the win," said head coach Willie Kirk.

“Bees had a good opening spell in the second-half but I think we dealt with it well.

“Games like this highlight how difficult this league is. Every team is fit and physical and even if you are on top, every team will test you.

“Over the last six weeks the girls have been fantastic at putting what we have been working on during the week into practice on a matchday."

Bristol City Women remain in second place in the WSL2 league table after local rivals Yeovil beat Durham at home 4-0.

City Women’s next game is on Saturday, July 30th (KO 6:45pm) when they take on Millwall Lionesses away.
