Young supporters are very welcome at Ashton Gate and we put a lot of effort into making them feel special.
This year we were awarded the Family Excellence Award by the Football League for the eighth successive campaign.
For the 2017/18 season, the club will open its brand-new Family Area in the Lansdown Stand upper tier, where our mascot Scrumpy the Robin will be on hand to meet young supporters.
In this area we adopt a zero tolerance attitude to foul mouthed or abusive comments. If you feel that your children are being subjected to language or behaviour that you don't want them to hear, don't hesitate to contact the nearest steward.
Football clubs, schools or other organisations who make group bookings can also apply to be flagbearers at the start of the match or second half, or take part in a pitch parade at half-time. Young fans can also celebrate their birthday as part of a special package offered by the Bristol City Community Trust, or even be mascot for the day. For more information on group bookings, birthday parties and mascots, please contact Vicky Barlow on 0117 963 0686 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before the game, we present a signed cap to a young supporter attending his or her first match at Ashton Gate. We offer this on a first come, first served basis and they are incredibly popular. If you'd like to be capped, please contact Lily Cann on 0117 963 0600 or e-mail email@example.com.
Our programme 'Well Red' has its own dedicated section for young supporters. It features quizzes and competitions.
Please bear in mind that there is limited car parking close to Ashton Gate. Allow ample time to get to the ground, particularly if you have young children who may not be able to walk too far or too fast.
If you would like more information or have any questions or suggestions as to how we can further improve our facilities for young supporters at Ashton Gate, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
