Fan Advisory Network (FAN)

The Fans Advisory Network (FAN) was launched in November 2012 (as the Fans Parliament), replacing the long-running Fans Consultative Forum.

It is a supporter consultative group, with members representing a variety of stakeholders in the club. In 2015 the group elected Jeremy Palmer as its chair, with Miles Hendy as vice-chair. Secretary for FAN is Mike Adams.

Meeting are held four times a year, agenda items can be added through FAN members. Minutes are produced and posted on the club's official website.

The football is incidental; we come to share a common interest with friends and enjoy the atmosphere. Being a City fan is improved when the club focus and act on what we want. As vice-chair of the Supporters Club & Trust I see progress but you need to engage too.

I've been going down the Gate since 68/69, spending time on the Open End, in the Dolman and on the East End in the 70s and 80s, followed by the Atyeo and now South Stand in more recent times. Particularly interested in safe standing, matchday atmosphere, transparent, fair ticket pricing and supporter liaison. Also a member of the Supporters Club & Trust board.

I run the Programme Club and am available on matchdays, from 1pm on Saturdays, alongside the programme seller near the Atyeo Statue at the Winterstoke Road entrance.

My name is Keith Perry, born and bred in Bristol. I am now 80 years of age, and have supported Bristol City since my parents brought me from about the age of five years old. I have been a Shareholder and Season Ticket holder in the Dolman Stand for many years and, in addition, I am Secretary of the Senior Reds who I represent as one of the two members on the Fans Advisory Network. I think that my experience gathered over the years can provide a moderate voice when discussing the future of the FAN.

Through membership of FAN, I aim to support City in every way, but especially in: school/community engagement, youth development, networking including helping improve links and travel for those living outside Bristol. I have been a Bristol City season ticket holder for 25 years. Having run local public houses, including the Ship & Castle, The Robins & Bar BS3, I have a broad knowledge of supporters' feelings towards the club and have been able to discuss topics with many people during that time. I’m passionate about Bristol City! I have supported City since 1962 when my Dad first took me to watch City. We won 2-1 at Eastville! During this period I have also been an active referee, officiating in over 1,000 games, including acting as the 4th Official at Ashton Gate on occasions! Along with my son, I am a current Season Card holder in the Lansdown Stand. I also attend many away games including some on the CATS coaches. I am always willing to take up any issues that fans may bring to my attention and would love to continue in my existing position and to play a future part in FAN becoming an effective communication route with the club.

Born and raised in the depths of South Bristol with my first recollection of City being Viv Anderson and Nottingham Forest through the bars of the East End, no guesses on age please. I now reside with the Parkenders after spending many seasons in various stands enjoying the ecstasy and agony. I'm passionate about the Reds and will always listen and help with enthusiasm.
