City will place a small allocation of around 2,000 tickets on sale for the play-off final at Wembley from 10am on Wednesday morning.

The tickets are in various price brackets, split between an extra allocation from Wembley Stadium, plus a small number of restricted view seats (at half price) and a combination of returns.

Due to the short timescale involved and limited postal times; these tickets will be on sale IN PERSON AT ASHTON GATE ONLY.

Sales will be limited to the following groups: 2008/09 season ticket holders* (not including those who have renewed from 2007/08), shareholders**, Supporters Club members, Supporters Trust members, Senior Reds and City Redz members***.

Tickets will be limited to two per applicant****. They will be on sale Wednesday from 10am until 6pm (subject to availability) from the Williams Stand ticket office.

There will be five windows selling tickets at the stadium so queues are inevitable, and supporters are asked to exercise patience whilst waiting. Abusive language or threatening behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated and will result in refusal to serve.

The club cannot guarantee that everyone who queues will get tickets, but will keep a check on numbers to try and prevent unnecessary queuing.

Fans will not be able to choose which block they will sit in. Tickets will be allocated on preferred price band/best seat available basis.

Credit card ticket purchases will be subject to a five per cent booking fee.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed it will not be hosting a giant screening of the final back at Ashton Gate due to operational issues. The pitch is being re-laid this week, and the Dolman Hall is also in use, making the event impossible to host at the stadium.

* 2008/09 season ticket holders must bring with them a receipt (for those who purchased in person) or online print out of proof of purchase. For those new season ticket holders without either of the aforementioned proof of purchase will experience a delay when purchasing as the club checks its system for proof.
** Shareholders must show their share certificate when purchasing tickets.
*** The following priority groups must show their appropriate membership card when purchasing tickets: Supporters Club members, Supporters Trust members, Senior Reds and City Redz.
**** A supporter holding numerous memberships in their own name will only be able to purchase two tickets (ie. 'Supporter A' who is a Supporters Club and Supporter Trust member, and also a shareholder is only eligible for two tickets). However, fans queuing with numerous memberships for different people are eligible for the appropriate number of tickets (ie. 'Supporter B' who has a Supporters Club membership and also has 'Supporter C' and Supporter D's Senior Reds membership cards can purchase six tickets).
