THURSDAY'S PRESS TALK

Posted on: Thu 02 Sep 2010

Bristol City starlet Christian Ribeiro has spoken of his desire to put a nightmare close-season behind him now he is back fit again. The Wales international defender revealed how he had been bed-ridden with back pain during the summer. Ribeiro was unable to take part in pre-season training and is only now regaining full fitness having missed all of City's games so far. It could be worse for the 20-year-old - fellow City defender and Wales youngster James Wilson has been ruled out for the whole campaign after knee surgery.
