Jem Karacan is excited at the prospect of seeing Steve Coppell back in management next season. Coppell, 54, has taken charge of Reading's Championship rivals Bristol City and 20-year-old midfielder Karacan admitted it was great to see his former boss and mentor back in the game after an 11-month spell on the sidelines. The Turkey Under-21 international was given his break at Madejski Stadium by Coppell back in August 2008. And he said: "Coppell was brilliant for me and an unbelievable coach for Reading. He had been linked with a few manager jobs recently and we are just glad to see him back in management."
